Conner McLachlan
RSW
Conner McLachlan is a Registered Social Worker and proud Métis member of James Smith Cree Nation who is passionate about helping individuals discover hope, healing, and lasting change. He believes every person has the capacity for growth and resilience and is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Conner draws from both his professional training and his lived experiences to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, anger, addiction and recovery, trauma, abuse, and the unique challenges that can come with blended families and life’s transitions. Having experienced many of these struggles firsthand, he understands that healing is not always a straight path. His journey has strengthened his empathy and allows him to connect with clients in an authentic, compassionate, and relatable way while maintaining a professional, client-centered approach.
Conner’s therapeutic style is collaborative, practical, and strengths-focused. He incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. He believes that every individual is the expert in their own life and works alongside clients to empower them to achieve their personal goals.
Family is at the heart of who Conner is, and he values the importance of connection, healthy relationships, and strong support systems. Outside of the therapy room, he enjoys spending time with his family and is actively involved in combat sports, which have been a significant source of discipline, resilience, confidence, and personal wellness throughout his life.
Whether you are seeking support for your mental health, recovery journey, relationships, or personal growth, Conner is committed to walking alongside you with compassion, honesty, and encouragement every step of the way.
