Sarah Janz
BISW, RSW
Whether it is your first time seeking counselling or you’re looking for a new therapist; opening up to a stranger about your feelings and experiences can be overwhelming. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment that honours each persons unique experiences, perspectives, and cultural backgrounds.
My name is Sarah. I hold a degree in Indigenous Social Work and a Certificate in Reconciliation. My experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds has shown me the value of flexible and adaptive support. I’m dedicated to creating a welcoming space for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or cultural identity.
My practice is inspired by a wholistic, alternative play-based approach to counselling. This creative, non-judgemental space allows individuals to express themselves freely, fostering deeper connections and meaningful breakthroughs.
Through my work I aim to:
Empower individuals to reclaim their voices and stories.
Foster resilience and coping strategies.
Help navigate neurodivergence.
Promote cultural awareness and understanding.
Support personal growth and transformation.
I’m committed to providing personalized support to youth and adults as they journey towards healing and growth. I hope we can connect as you take these next steps in finding your good life.
